Almenwelt Lofer
Easily reachable within about 7 minutes is the Almenwelt Lofer family ski paradise, which provides unlimited skiing fun on 46 kilometres of the most finely prepared slopes. Beginners and children in particular will be excited about this ski resort, not least because of the extensive Bobo Kinderland and Lofino Kinderland ski playgrounds. Two local ski schools with qualified instructors are happy to offer you help and advice if you’d like to improve your abilities on two slats. Other special attractions at Almenwelt Lofer are, for example, the 9 km long valley descent that is equipped with a snow-making system or a descent with a total height difference of 1000 metres! By the way: the family tickets at this ski resort are very inexpensive and guarantee you an immensely fun time in the snowy splendour! Also in the area are the family-friendly ski areas of Steinplatte in Waidring (about a 15-minute drive away) and the Heutal in Unken ski resort (about 20 minutes away), which offer equally affordable ski passes for the entire family.
Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

The ski circuit is one of the ski regions most guaranteed to have snow, not the least because of the numerous snow-making systems, ensuring unlimited skiing fun from the end of November until the middle of April. One-of-a-kind attractions, such as well-hidden snow trails, a tubing track, well-lit toboggan runs, and great top-class events make the Skicircus a hot spot of the Austrian Alps!
Hochkönig/Maria Alm - Ski amadé
With around 120 kilometres of seamlessly connected slopes and breathtaking views of the eponymous massif, the Hochkönig Ski Area wins over anyone seeking deep-snow slopes and state-of-the-art facilities. Numerous extras, like a fun slope, a well-lit ski slope for night-time skiing fun, 3 different fun parks, and many accommodating ski huts and après-ski opportunities make a visit to the ski area around Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach an adventurous experience for all snow fans! The ski resort Zell am See-Kaprun with the Kitzsteinhorn and its unique glacial slopes can also be reached within 45 minutes by car. For speedy toboggan riding there is a toboggan run in Weißbach. An ice rink, which is lit up in the evening just like the toboggan run, is available right nearby your accommodation.
